DIRECTOR | CHARTERED LEGAL EXECUTIVE FCILEX

I am a Chartered Legal Executive regulated by the Institute of Legal Executives, specialising exclusively in family law for over 18 years, I have a wealth of knowledge and experience in all areas of family law. I firmly believe that having the support of a highly experienced family lawyer, is your key to navigating the separation process with confidence. It enables you to feel safe in the knowledge that you will achieve the best possible advice and outcome, tailored to your specific needs and requirements.

My experience has taught me that you cannot adopt a blanket approach to family issues. It is so important to listen and find out what a positive outcome looks like to each individual. What it means to one person will be different to someone else.

I studied Law with French Language at University, which included a year living in France while studying French Law. After working as a paralegal before and after completing the Legal Practice Course, I commenced a training contract with a Bristol firm.

Admitted as a Solicitor in February 2017, I have since practiced in both Family and Criminal Law across Bristol before joining S H Family Law. I am a confident advocate who regularly represents clients at hearings. I am a member of Resolution.

CONSULTANT SOLICITOR

Following University I spent 5 years as a Police Officer with Avon and Somerset Constabulary before deciding to train as a Solicitor. I qualified as a Solicitor in 1994 and have since this time specialised exclusively in family law. I am committed to resolving disputes which arise within a family setting in a sensitive manner, keeping the channels of communications (however weak those may be), open and providing individuals with the information they need to make the choices which best suit them and their family. This ensures that the individual remains in control of the process rather than being driven by the often complicated legal system.
